Best Practices

Install a minimum 4-inch bed beneath utility pipes and provide 6 inches of cover above. Compact in 6-inch lifts using vibratory equipment. Ensure stone is free of fines for maximum drainage performance. For sewer applications, maintain consistent gradation to prevent pipe deflection.
